Beau Is A Fear: Latest Trailer, Release Date, Cast and Everything We Know
Ari Aster has really made a name for herself over the past few years. Both Hereditary and Midsommar became instant classics for horror fans, thanks to the stellar performances of actors like Toni Collette and Florence Pugh and the flair for their scares. Neither movie relies on horrifying scares or shrill audio to give you goosebumps, but instead leans heavily on a deeply disturbing, psychological horror franchise that makes audiences crave even more. want more.
Now, Aster is ready to do it all over again, this time with Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role. His latest movie is called Beau is A Fear, formerly known temporarily as Disappointments Blvd, and based on the little information we have so far, it looks like it will annoying and horrible as you would expect.
When will Beau Is A Fear come out?
Scheduled to hit theaters on April 21, 2023.
Is there a tow truck?
We have exactly one trailer for the movie so far and You can watch it here. However, good luck trying to piece any plot with it.
What does it talk about?
Great question! The official diary entry details the plot as follows: “A paranoid man embarks on an epic adventure to return home to his mother in the daring and ingenious debauchery new film. This is from writer/director Ari Aster.” Other meager details explain that Phoenix’s character exists in an “alternative present”. It is also implied that Beau’s house of adventure is motivated by the death of his mother and that she is “bossy”, whatever that means.
Additionally, the trailers and posters suggest that there will be elaborate flashbacks or maybe even dimensional transitions going on. Some characters have both old and young versions of themselves and there are many scenes of the Phoenix wandering through unbelievably surreal landscapes. But of course, given Ari Aster’s penchant for drama, maybe none of this is what it seems.
Who’s in there?
Beau is A Fear stars Joaquin Phoenix, Patti LuPone, Parker Posey, Nathan Lane, Stephen Mckinley Henderson, and Richard Kind.
What genre is it?
The movie is billed as a “surrealist horror comedy,” but we can’t tell you exactly what that means in this context. It’s probably safe to assume that there won’t be much comedy in this episode—but never say never.
