Being Healthy Is Not Just Taking Care Of Your Body You Need To Do This Well..

Being healthy isn’t just about taking care of your body, you need to take care of more areas of your lifestyle than just your body. Today we’re going to take a look at some areas you may have overlooked for years and how you can start changing all aspects of your health.

So many of you look at healthy living in the context of weight loss, but there are many other aspects of being healthy that you need to consider. Being healthy isn’t just about eating right!

Personally, I think the key to healthy living is following a healthy lifestyle to give yourself the best chance of avoiding chronic disease.

It’s easy to neglect self-care because when we’re so busy and overwhelmed we can’t seem to find the time to take care of ourselves. Self-care helps prevent “overload burnout” and reduces the negative effects of stress, so it is essential for your health.

There is no doubt that eating right and exercising are important for your body as well as consuming adequate amounts of water. “Calories in” must be compared with “Calories out”, so choosing good foods to support exercise is really important to take the best care of your body.

You will feel better by eating right and exercising, but to feel good you have to do more work. You need to have a full healthy lifestyle. Take care of your body, but also your mind and general health.

Once a personal trainer and now a Life Coach, I encourage my clients to strike a good balance between all the important areas of their lives.

To do this, I teach them the importance of Health

According to the World Health Organization, “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” In other words, your health isn’t just about illness – it’s about mental and social well-being.

“The natural healing power within each of us is the biggest driver of your health.” ~ Hippocrates

The best way to look at all aspects of a healthy lifestyle is to look at your Health.

Health is the process of actively perceiving and making choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. Health is not just the avoidance of disease, it is a dynamic process of change and development.
