Splitgate
For anyone tired of the usual military-themed shooters that seem to dominate the FPS genre, Splitgate is a nostalgic return to the age of sci-fi deathmatches like Unreal Tournament, Halo and Quake 3 Arena. Its real claim to fame, however, is its portal combat, as the run and shoot gameplay is enhanced by a wrist-mounted gizmo that lets you warp time and space by fast quickly rip holes in realistic textures that you can travel and even shoot through.
More than just a useful tool for escaping from enemies, the portal allows for some cunning moves, and once you adjust your tactics you can quickly use them to attack. defeat the opponent. Still a stub, Splitgate admittedly doesn’t have a lot of player content, but when its core gameplay is this good, you’ll still have a solid time with it whenever you’re into it. take a few innings.
