The New York Giants Midwest travel to face Minnesota Vikings in a trickle match in the playoff kick plot. The Vikings continue to hunt for the #1 seed, while the Giants try to fend off the teams for one of the last wildcard spawns.
Pick the best midfielder
Cash Game: Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings (DraftKings $6.3K, FanDuel $7.7K)
Kirk Cousins has better weapons around him, making him the safer choice of the two QBs. Cousins is meant as the Cash game option in this game.
Tournament: Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants (DraftKings $5.6K, FanDuel $7.4K)
Daniel Jones can have an impressive performance thanks to his ability to run the ball with his feet.
Best rerun option
Cash Game: Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants (DraftKings $7.9K, FanDuel $8.5K)
The Giants wanted to slow this game down as much as possible. New York does not want to participate in the meeting with Minnesota. Saquon Barkley is their best bet as a runner and receiver over short yards. Expect the Giants to lean on Barkley to the tune of more than 25 touchdowns.
Tournament: Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota Vikings (DraftKings $7.2K, FanDuel $8.7K)
The situation was not good for Dalvin Cook in the first half of last week. The Colts’ defenses overcame the Vikings, but the Vikings returned and Dalvin Cook was one of the catalysts for the return. Expect Vikings to join Dalvin Cook early and often in this installment.
Wide receiver and tight end
Cash Game: Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings (DraftKings $9.3K, FanDuel $9.3K)
Justin Jefferson is Chalk playing the weekly receiver position. Even last week, when fellow recipient KJ Osborn was about to go off, Justin Jefferson still received. Jefferson was a wonderful talent and seemed to open up at will, and the Vikings did a phenomenal job of planning him to open up. Jefferson is one of the safest plays in the DFS for Saturday.
Tournament: Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants (DraftKings $5.2K, FanDuel $6.3K)
The New York Giants will have to score on Saturday if they want to keep up with the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings score points on anyone, so the Giants will likely have to attack more than they’re used to. Daniel Jones played well on Sunday Night Football, so playing QB shouldn’t be a problem. “Second” has been terrible in the 2022 season. I see no reason why you can’t trust Darius Slayton in your DFS roster. Slayton is the only game received in town for the Giants, so it’s highly likely.
