Last week, I was reviewing celebrity wearables, like I wouldn’t, and came across Denzel Washington and his trusty $380 G-Shock. i think about Jack Nicholson and his Timex Easy Reader which cost a lot less than what a delicious meal is today. And I think of you, dear reader, here in the wilderness of watches trying to put together a collection that doesn’t require a side deal with a guy who can pay a good price for a kidney, a spleen or your first child. One of my motivating beliefs, in addition to my firm belief that Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds is GOAT cereal, is that watch collection can be much more accessible than it seems. Here are six well-known collectors of their favorite pieces, from vintage pieces to modern pieces, priced under $500.
“Modern, simple on proven classic models is what I love from unified team. Their classic core U2 And U4 the lines are all great works under $500. I find U2 . model especially attractive: its simple design and oversized crown make it stand out among seasoned watch lovers with a keen eye for fine details and perfect balance in design.”
“Mine MoonSwatch Mission to Jupiter is my favorite watch under $500. It is a watch that pays homage to a timeless classic, Omega SpeedMaster Professional, but also introduces a new exciting element to watches in a variety of colors. With some of my more expensive pieces, I’m usually a bit more conservative with the dial, so this watch is definitely the most interesting piece in my collection. I decided to throw it in Permanent strap camera strap digi and it’s a party on the wrist.
