Beyoncé says she created ‘Renaissance’ to “Find a Way Out In A Scary Time For The World”

BeyHive is ready to let Beyoncé drop her three-act project, Renaissance, and Bey finally gives fans a glimpse into the state of her mind as she created the album. In addition to back-to-back photos of father and son, Bey thanks her family for supporting her during the pandemic and for guiding her musical genius!

The making of this album allowed me to have a place to dream and find an escape in a terrifying time for the world. It allows me to feel free and adventurous in a time when everything else is moving. My intention is to create a safe place. A place without judgment. A place for freedom or perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of discovery.”

The official watchlist for ‘act I RENAISSANCE ‘ was released last week, and fans went wild when it was revealed that the album’s production and writing credits include some of the biggest names in the industry. Tems, SYD, Lucky Daye, Nija Charles, The-Dream, Drake, Pharrell, Donna Summers and Sabrina Claudio are just some of the famous musical talents.

Bey shared a sweet photo of her three children Rumi, Sir and Blue along with the sweet message:

I want to give a special thanks to Rumi, Mr. and Blue for giving me space, creativity and inspiration. And a special thank you to my beautiful husband and muse, who pulls me through the darkest nights in the studio. To all my fans: I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle, HA! And to feel as unique, powerful and sexy as you are. “
