Necessary steps to practice self-love

Before we begin, let’s break down what narcissism is. Self-love is a state of self-esteem that develops from actions that support our physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. So, DO NOT be narcissistic or self-absorbed to promote self-love.

It can positive affirmation in the mirror, ignoring the scale you always step into (note to myself), great mental healthand STOP comparing yourself to others. And that’s okay, we’ve all been there before. With that said, here are three essential steps you can take to achieve world domination… .oops, wrong message… narcissism! (*whispers* then rule the world).

1. Recognize and accept your emotional state: Listen, staying happy is a must. I don’t care how many trips you take to Starbucks or Target (I tried). But there’s nothing wrong with that. Also, sometimes we see people on social media living their best lives and think we are falling behind.

Unfortunately, some days are darker than others, and some can feel like some of the most incredible days of your life. As long as you can recognize those bad days and your emotional state, you can establish an effective routine for navigating those times.

2. Take time for yourself: One habit is to take time for yourself. That can be like turning off your phone and just breathing. It sounds simple, but it’s a lot harder than people realize. Sometimes we feel like we’re not doing enough; so we don’t deserve TLC moments, couldn’t be further from the truth. You deserve it, good friends.

3. Get enough Zzz’s: People over 30, this is HUGE! Why? Because a good night’s sleep is the key to a healthy life mentally, physically and emotionally. Plus, no one wants to wake up with bags under their eyes if they can help it. You can achieve a great night of rest with good bedtime habits.

For example, you go to bed at a reasonable time and sleep on an incredible mattress. Heavy on an incredible mattress.
