Bill Murray Hits Viral No-Look Putt at Pebble Beach Pro-Am – The Hollywood Reporter
So he has that for him, which is great.
Bill Murray went viral with a batting he takes on Saturday at the annual Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The iconic comedian hit an unseeing putt and then tossed his bat aside in epic Carl Spackler style. Fans and TV commentators ate it.
Murray plays fan-favorite Carl in ’80s golf Caddyshack. The actor is also known to be a sports and golf enthusiast. In 2016, Murray and his brother Joel launched a clothing brand called William Murray Golf.
The video of Murray hitting the putt has more than 2.4 million views on the PGA Tour tweet. Murray was trending on Twitter on Sunday as fans shared the video with gusto. Murray always draws crowds when it comes to professional matches because he naturally enjoys being a jerk (apart from being a stellar player) for the cameras and viewers.
71 years old Ghostbusters stars are among 27 celebrities playing this weekend’s morning, others include star quarterback of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Mookie Betts and rapper ScHoolboy Q.
Pebble Beach Pro-Am will end on Sunday, giving Murray more time to create another viral moment.
