A performer at Moscow’s famend Bolshoi Theatre was killed in an accident throughout an opera on Saturday, the theatre stated.
The Bolshoi, one in every of Russia’s most prestigious theatres, stated the incident occurred throughout a change of stage surroundings in Sadko, an opera by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
“The opera was instantly stopped and the viewers was requested to depart,” the theatre stated in feedback carried by the Interfax information company.
