The 6-year-old boy was dragged aside at Mexico City International Airport and his belongings searched in the presence of security officers.

The incident was filmed and uploaded to TikTok, where it received 20.5 million views.

The clip was accompanied by the message: “Six-year-old suspect brought a weapon at the airport!”

In it, the funny six-year-old is seen as security guards stand around his two toy guns and take pictures with their phones.

The camera pans to the family’s other bags, which appear to have been checked by officials and marked as “checked baggage”.

According to local media, the boy was detained by airport authorities for carrying a “suspicious object” after guards discovered his toy gun.

The boy carried two of his favorite plastic pistols in his Mario Bros backpack for a family trip to Oaxaca to celebrate his birthday.

Fussy’s defenders then checked the boy’s entire backpack before forcing his parents to open their cases as well.

The family was detained for about 20 minutes before being allowed to board their flight.

A family member said the boy was allowed to bring five toys with him on the trip, which he packed at the last minute.

Along with some teddy bears, he also picked out two of his favorite plastic guns to take with him on the trip.
