Braxton Sisters Pen Sweet messages on social media to celebrate Traci Braxton’s 51st birthday
The Braxton family is still grieving the loss of their daughter, sister and mother Traci Braxton. About three weeks before her 2022 birthday celebration, Traci passed away after a private battle with esophageal cancer. Despite the tragic situation, the Braxton sisters took the time to write their talented sister simple and sweet notes about her 51st birthday.

“Someone lied and said ‘it got easier.’ It’s not. You just have to carry on living without,” Tamar wrote in an Instagram post. “On your last birthday, we are all very hopeful and optimistic and say it will not be your last. We were right because Today and EVERY birthday we will celebrate you just like we said. Our sisterhood is unbreakable. We love you.”

“Happy Birthday Traci,” Towanda Braxton wrote in an Instagram Story post. “My beautiful hummingbird. I miss you. I love you so much.”
Towanda also shared a message of love to her profile feed, along with a video showcasing Traci.
“Every day, I wake up with disbelief that my Traci is no longer here. If you don’t have sisters, you’ll never fully understand the bond we have together. Through thick and thin, we always have each other even when we just finished arguing,” Towanda wrote. “No one knew the real sisterhood we shared. Talk to each other, exchange secrets. Many people tried to come among us but our love for each other was blessed by God. Happy birthday to my wonderful Traci. I love you and thank you for being you… .no mistake. I will forever keep our promise. Love, your Umba. ”

Toni shared a pale pink and yellow flyer that reads: “Happy birthday Traci. We love and miss you dearly.” Braxton’s sister was recently interviewed on Tamron Hall and also talked about the pain of losing her sister Traci.
Earlier this week, Traci’s husband and son celebrated their birthday. At the time, reports said the Braxton family was not present.
