Brian Kelly’s daughter went viral on TikTok after her father left for LSU.
Since Kelly was recently hired as head coach at LSU, his daughter Grace Kelly – now a senior at Notre Dame – has been sharing on TikTok about her father’s reaction to the south.
“When you still have to graduate from Notre Dame in five months but your dad has left for LSU,” Kelly added in the post, captioning it “get ready to be booed on the way to my class every morning. “
One of Kelly’s friends joined the fun and shared a TikTok of Kelly’s running down the hallway mimicking the “Red light, green light” trend. Kelly was getting ready in the hallway when the post was captioned, “passing senior year at Notre Dame.” As Kelly took off to run down the hallway, the caption was changed to, “Dad becomes head coach at LSU.”
As the post was meant to make fun of this change, Grace Kelly shared a series of posts in support of her father’s new work. She shared several photos with her family at Tiger Stadium on December 1 with the caption “feeling at home” and made another post on TikTok on Friday night saying: “Geaux Tigers.”
Kelly was announced as LSU’s new head coach on November 30 after a series of unusual events. He spent 12 years on Fighting Irish and left the show as the school’s all-time winning coach with an overall record of 113-40. He signed a 10-year contract for $95 million, plus incentives. Notre Dame promoted defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman in place of Kelly.
