Bridge collapse in Norway: Drivers of two vehicles rescued
The driver of two vehicles was rescued after a bridge collapsed into the water in southern Norway.
A car plunged into the river, but the truck involved remained on the bridge on a stretch of the water.
The nearly 150-meter (500-foot) bridge was inaugurated in 2012 and has been commissioned in 2021.
The Norwegian Public Roads Authority said it wanted an independent investigation into the collapse.
