Bronx shooting: 2 men killed in dispute outside Jerome Park bar; 1 man in custody
Police say the shooting happened just before 11 p.m. on East 198th Street near Webster Avenue in the Bedford Park section of the Bronx.
According to police sources, a 28-year-old and a 24-year-old were bathing a newborn baby in the second floor lobby of a building near the site when a fight broke out outside.
It spilled onto the corner of 198th Street, where the shooting took place.
According to authorities, the 28-year-old man shot the 24-year-old, then a friend of the 24-year-old man walked out of the building, armed with a gun and shot the 28-year-old. , who may also have been stabbed.
Police found the 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso and the 28-year-old with a facial wound.
Both men were taken to St. Barnabas, where they were declared dead.

It is unclear what the men were arguing about.
Police said all three men were from New Rochelle.
The deadly shooting comes as gun violence continues to rise in New York City.
The neighbors went to work on Sunday morning, extremely disturbed.

“This will definitely happen because with the frenzy going on around here, it will continue to happen,” one resident said. “This isn’t the first time it’s happened because it’s really out of control here. I don’t know how the city is going to stop this happening, police department. But it’s terrible.”
The 28-year-old friend was detained by the police. Charges are pending.
Police recovered a gun.
After further investigation, police said they were looking for one more suspect and released photos of the man they were looking for.
