Could things go more smoothly?
BTS took to the stage for the final performance of the night with their hit single, “Butter”. DRAW, RM, Ji-min, Jongkook, Jin, J-Hope and Suga performed live on stage Sunday, November 21, during the 2021 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
After taking home three awards, the boy band members donned their best yellow suits and made the crowd sing and dance to the hit song that was released this summer. Keeping up with the theme, the stage is illuminated with bright yellow lights and animated “Butter” signs.
Of course, BTS did a lot more choreography than ARMY screaming.
K-pop superstars don’t miss a beat, though Megan The Stallion had to withdraw from the show, one day before the performance. The Hot Girl trainer, who appeared on the official “Butter” mix, announced on Saturday, November 20 that she will no longer be able to attend the ceremony.
