In Brown’s first game back, he caught 10 of his 15 goals in 101 yards, all leading the team.
Brown was asked if he thought he might return, to which he replied that he was “here to do my job.”
“I can’t control what people write, how people try to frame me, or how people try to put me down,” Brown said. “Life is about obstacles and persevere and do what’s right. So you’ll get the results right. So I stand here before you to be grateful, humbly, thankful and glad when being part of a big win with my teammates. It’s not about what I did. Brown said most of what he has to deal with is drama created by the media and drama created by people who want something from him.
“But that’s just part of life, part of being in the position I’m in,” Brown said. “I can’t control what people want from me, I can’t control what people write about me. I can’t control what people say about me. All I can do is wake up. get up every day, be the best person you can be and when i get the chance to do my job, do my job the best way i can and that is where we are today .”
