Bucks-Celtics, Knicks-Sixers confirmed for Christmas Day
Add Doa, Shams Charania of The Athletic relay that the Celtics will host the Bucks. Boston beat Milwaukee in seven games in the second round of last season’s knockouts.
New York hosting teams at Christmas has become a regular thing, but with the team missing last year’s playoffs, it’s fair to wonder if it will happen again. Philadelphia playing Miami will also make sense, when the Sixers sign the contract PJ Tucker in free agency and teams that met in the post-season period.
With these two games confirmed, the NBA’s tentative Christmas Day schedule has now been announced. Other highly anticipated games are Grizzlies-Warriors, Lakers-Mavericks and Suns-Nuggets.
