Bucs coach Bruce Arians as Tom Brady dashes in with the ball: ‘That’s enough’
Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians ended with his quarterback sacrificing his body for the first knockdown.
During his post-game press conference after Tampa Bay’s 33-27 overtime win over Buffalo, Arians voiced his opinion on Tom Brady’s rushed efforts. The midfielder took a number of hits from the Bills’ defense that could have reduced his effectiveness, but Arians confirmed that “he’s fine” after the coaches checked in with Brady.

As well as scoring his 700th career touchdown to secure the win with 31 completions of 363 yards and two passes, Brady made seven runs for 16 yards and one javelin. He made some hits from the Buffalo defense before extending the lead 24-3 for Tampa with less than two minutes remaining. Arians simply expressed disapproval of the hasty efforts by saying, “That’s enough.“
When asked if Brady would prefer to keep running after rushed efforts, Arians gave a humorous answer that made some chuckles. Some reporters even tried to ask how many yards Brady has earned in his career, and he replied, “Enough.”
Arians told reporters about Brady’s urgent efforts. “But, get your butt on the ground.”

When Brady took the podium, he had a few responses to Arian’s comment and confirmed one of the trainer’s statements about his preference for running.
“She’s been pretty unlike me for a long time,” Brady told reporters. “I’d rather get out there and finish a few plays. But I’d rather give it to the guys running back, or toss it to the guys who are better at holding the ball in their hands than I am.”

Before releasing a statement about the midfielder’s rushed efforts, Arians responded to a question about Brady’s record. As the veteran quarterback continues to make strides in the league at the age of 44, Arians believes he may have nothing left to accomplish before he decides to retire.
“I couldn’t keep up with him,” said Arians. “I don’t think there will be any records left when he’s done.”
The Buccaneers (10-3), the AFC South’s top team, will be set to face the Saints (6-7) for their next match. The competition will take place Sunday at Raymond James Stadium during the Buccaneers’ main game Thursday.
