Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen throws first TD pass of the 2022 season on a 26-yard player to Gabe Davis
INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Buffalo Bills midfielder Josh Allen kicked off his season with a bang, finishing off a perfect first drive with a 26-yard touchdown pass to a wide receiver. Gabe Davis take a 7-0 lead on the Los Angeles Rams.
In third and 1 from the Rams’ 26-yard line, Allen, on the run, noticed Davis widening the box after he scrambled outside the pocket to give Davis time to get off the field. It was the first time the Bills had scored in their first drive of the season since 2011 at the Chiefs (Ryan Fitzpatrick passed to Scott Chandler).
The midfielder was flawless in the opening game of the game, completing all five of his passes in 58 yards, including the opening goal. His best five finishes without a single finish on an opening move in his career. He also completed his first five games of the Week 16 opening 2020 trip against the Patriots.
He connects to four different receivers on the drive.
