Buick Envision 2023 price up at least $1,900 over 2022

GM agency get it next year’s pricing, revealing that the MSRP will increase by $1,900 for the bottom two and $5,810 for the top Avenir. New math, including destination fee increased $200 to $1,395, delete the discounts that have arrived for Envision 2022 prices earlier this year. The retail cost for the upcoming Avenir with front-wheel drive after destination charges will be:
- Preferred FWD: $34,795
- Essence FWD: $38,895
- Avenir FWD: $47,055
Adding four-wheel drive means an extra $1,800 on the Essence and Avenir. Doing the same for the entry-level Preferred means pushing the MSRP to $3,650 as the $1,850 Convenience Pack is required when turning the rear axle.
BILLIONPaying an extra $1,900 for Preferred and Essence plus $1,500 for three years of OnStar and Connected Services, GM makes telematics service standard on Cadillac, GMC and Buick lines as well as the Chevrolet Corvette for next year. That leaves the remaining $400 as a pure model year price increase.
The much larger increase to the Avenir is due to the fact that it comes with more gear. For 2023, this equipment makes the standard $1,965 and the Technology Pack II and $1,450 Panoramic Power Moonroof. The Technology Package adds enhanced LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, adaptive dampers, enhanced automatic emergency braking and parking assist, and a rear-view camera mirror with a washer. Those packages correspond to a $3,415 surcharge, an extra $1,500 for the OnStar takes that to $4,915, leaving $895 as the model year price goes up.
The rest should be carried over, save for potential changes to the external color menu. If there’s any big news about the model next year, it’s potential the appearance of the Envision GX that would add about eight inches to the overall length, with two of those going between the wheels.
