BILLIONPaying an extra $1,900 for Preferred and Essence plus $1,500 for three years of OnStar and Connected Services, GM makes telematics service standard on Cadillac, GMC and Buick lines as well as the Chevrolet Corvette for next year. That leaves the remaining $400 as a pure model year price increase.
The much larger increase to the Avenir is due to the fact that it comes with more gear. For 2023, this equipment makes the standard $1,965 and the Technology Pack II and $1,450 Panoramic Power Moonroof. The Technology Package adds enhanced LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, adaptive dampers, enhanced automatic emergency braking and parking assist, and a rear-view camera mirror with a washer.
