Building the future of robotics – TechCrunch
Hello and welcome to a special edition of Equity!
Today, Alex multiple thrones Brian Heatera longtime TechCrunch company, our hardware editor, podcast extraordinaire, and the genial chapter. He also gathered a really neat robot-focused event which we will be hosting next week. The event is online and free, which means anyone can come and participate (that means you!)
The talk is also a good reason to spend time with Heater, and get a little understanding of robotics, how the self-driving hardware stack is impacting more than just cars, and why we need AGI for robots to, you know, become what we know from the Jetsons.
In short, robotics is improving rapidly, but we will likely continue to see more industrial than personal applications for a while. However, there is still a lot of activity in the market, covering employment policy, e-commerce applications, and a host of other topics.
