Butch recalls his reunion with Triple H over WrestleMania over the weekend
Butch reflected on the meeting Triple HOW After the WWE Legend announced his retirement from playing in the ring due to health problems this year.
The SmackDown star worked under The Game during his time on NXT and NXT UK as Pete Dunne. He’s the second person to hold the main championship later, and he’s also a former tag team champion in the brand’s black gold era.
In a recent interview with MetroButch said he was very emotional with Triple H during WrestleMania 38 weekend, but it was nice to see him fine and healthy.
“For me, real life changes. Moments in front of a crowd, I’m glad he’s got that, but it’s great to have a one-on-one chat with him one-on-one, and just make sure telling him everything was fine and seeing that he was fine and looking healthy In those moments wrestling was the last thing on my mind it was great to see him healthy and back to work on a different side In a way, however he wanted to be involved. Seeing him in that scene – obviously it was emotional.”
Triple H had a meeting with WWE talent after announcing his retirement
The Brain Killer is one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling history. He has held many championships and faced many legends. After he confirmed his retirement, many people came to thank him and wish him the best.
In an interview last month, Kevin Owens said The Game has a emotional meeting with WWE stars following his announcement.
“Triple H, we haven’t seen him for too long. We had a talent meet. He’s back after a long time without people and he’s talked about everything he’s ever done. The message he got was, ‘Let’s take time to enjoy this.’ Man, that really resonated, but I tried to frame myself that way in a single moment. It really changes things, once you change your perspective on things,” Owens said.
