Calgary Chamber to host mayoral debate to discuss business issues on Wednesday – Calgary
5 candidates hoping to be Calgary’s subsequent mayor might be going through off in a debate on key enterprise points Wednesday night.
Hosted by the Calgary Chamber in partnership with International Calgary, the controversy will give attention to points key to how would-be mayors plan to assist metropolis companies with pandemic response and restoration. Different points embody expertise, taxes, emptiness, vibrancy, inclusivity and making enterprise simpler to conduct within the metropolis.
International Information anchor Dallas Flexhaug might be moderating the controversy, dubbed “pathways to potential.”

Candidates embody Jan Damery, Jeff Davison, Jeromy Farkas, Brad Discipline and Jyoti Gondek, representing the highest-polling candidates within the subject of 27.
The controversy takes place close to the halfway level of early polling, with Election Day to be held on Oct. 18.
Along with the 27 operating for mayor, 100 candidates are operating for the 14 council seats. With plenty of retirements from municipal politics, Calgary can have a brand new mayor and at the very least 9 new metropolis councillors.
The controversy could be seen on GlobalNews.ca/Calgary and heard on International Information Radio 770 CHQR on Wednesday, Oct. 6 from 5:30 to six:30 p.m.
