Californians working from home are moving to Mexico amid inflation

More than 360,000 people have left California by 2021, as some are calling for.The California Migration“- many people leave for states like Texas, Arizona and Washington.

And an increasing number of former Californians are emigrating out of the country altogether and heading south of the border instead. Many people are looking for a more comfortable and affordable lifestyle in Mexico.

California consistently ranks highly as one of the country’s most expensive states to live in. The median asking price for a home in California is around $797,470 – only 25% of the state’s households could afford that level in the fourth quarter of 2021.

California’s population growth has been declining for more than 30 years now. But thanks to the increase in remote work due to Pandemic caused by covid-19, those trends have accelerated. The ability to work anywhere 62% of Americans consider moving to a new country.

However, there are some obstacles. Many critics argue that Americans are driving up local housing prices and valuing them off the market.
