Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Year 2 WMD Map Delay Update
Activision announced recently Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War received Year 2 content on March 4, with new weapons, cosmetic packs, and the return of WMD. Originally featuring Black Ops 1, Treyarch’s WMD map has been remade for Black Ops Cold War. However, it looks like players will need to wait a little longer before returning to this classic Black Ops 1 map.
Players quickly noticed the WMD map was missing from the Black Ops Cold War Year 2 content release, and now Treyarch has announced that the map has been delayed. “We will need to delay the release of WMD maps until a future update is available,” the developer said in a tweet. “Thanks for your patience and stay tuned for more information.”
Vargo 52 Assault Rifle is now available to unlock in MP & Zombies in #BlackOpsColdWarand is also available as Reactive Mastercraft through the Store Bundle.

Unfortunately, no date has been given as to when players can expect WMD to arrive, but the game’s new weapon is now available to unlock for use in Black Ops Cold War or Warzone. This Year 2 update added the Vargo 52 assault rifle, players can Free unlock with in-game challenge. Additionally, players can purchase the new assault rifle’s Ferrofluid cosmetic blueprint as part of the store’s Tracer Pack: Ferro Fury Reactive Mastercraft.
No details have been announced about future Year 2 updates, but Activision’s blog hints that more content is to come. Additionally, players have also seen Black Ops 1’s Jungle map appear in the game files with WMD ahead of Activision’s official announcement.
