Cambridge OPP ask for public’s help in identifying man killed on Highway 85 in Waterloo
Cambridge OPP are searching for the general public’s assist in figuring out a person who was killed after being struck by a car on Freeway 85 in Waterloo late Sunday evening.
Sgt. Kerry Schmidt stated the incident occurred at round 11:30 p.m. within the northbound lanes of the freeway close to Northfield Drive.

He stated the motive force remained on the scene of the collision and is co-operating with police.
“We are attempting to establish this particular person and notify household subsequent of kin and proceed with our investigation and any help from the general public can be very significantly appreciated,” Schmidt stated in a video posted to Twitter.
He described the person as being in his 20s or 30s, Caucasian and well-groomed. The deceased was stated to be carrying a gray sweater and observe pants and sneakers.
“We would not have any identification on this particular person right now, and if there’s anybody with info that may help us within the investigation and the identification of this deceased, please name the Cambridge OPP at 519-654-0150.
