“Can’t Play Football”, “Instagram Newsletter”

Mexican journalist David Fairelson criticized cristiano ronaldo for his performance at World Cup 2022 and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez for her comments on Instagram. The journalist’s comment is given below Portugal were eliminated from the 2022 FIFA World Cup following a 0-1 defeat to Morocco in the quarter-finals.

Cristiano Ronaldo has endured a lackluster tournament in Qatar, scoring just one goal in five appearances. Portugal coach Fernando Santos eliminated the 37-year-old in the knockout matches against Switzerland and Maroconly brought him on in the second half.

Ronaldo’s family, which includes sisters Elma Aveiro and Katia Aveiro, as well as partner Georgina Rodriguez, questioned Santos’ decision to leave the superstar on the bench. They think that Ronaldo was treated roughly and deserves more respect.

However, Faitelson disagreed and suggested that the former Manchester United star had failed to meet his demands. He said (h/t Marca):

“But who treated [Ronaldo] bad?”

“Oh my God. He can’t play, he winces every time he gets sent off.”

Faitelson then assessed Georgina Rodriguez for using her Instagram account to question the manager’s calls.

“Woman [Georgina Rodriguez] is dedicated to sending newsletters via Instagram,” he added.

In the end, the Mexican journalist suggested that Portugal played better without Ronaldo and added that they reached the quarterfinals without his help.

“Let’s get serious, Fernando Santos made the decision and reached the quarter-finals without Cristiano Ronaldo,” he said.

“If you want the World Cup to be a tribute, go to Mexico. There, they honor players from every World Cup.”

Dietmar Hamann criticizes Cristiano Ronaldo for not congratulating Morocco after historic win

Former Liverpool player Dietmar “Didi” Hamann has criticized Ronaldo for his unsportsmanlike behavior following Portugal’s quarter-final defeat to Morocco. Hamann thinks Ronaldo should have congratulated Morocco after they became the first African team to qualify for the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup instead of diving down the tunnel.

Impressed with the sporting spirit of Morocco after they were beaten 2-0 by France in the semi-finals, Hamann said (via JOE):

“You talk about these superstars, the top earners, top players and one of the greatest, who left the scene about a week ago, in Ronaldo. He couldn’t even congratulate them, after the game.

“Morocco won that game, they did something historic and he is not even qualified to congratulate them on what they have achieved. And now you see them, the way they shook hands with the French, the dignity and courtesy they showed in defeat. Brilliant.”

Together terminating his contract with Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo currently finds himself in limbo. He is believed to be closely linked to a large sum of money moving to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr but has recently denied such reports.
