Caramel Banana Porridge – Wellness & Travel Blogger

Good morning from Dubai!

I just got back from a beautiful week in the Maldives and only two days left before flying again so I thought it was the perfect time to share one of the recipes I’ve got for breakfast at home!

With so much time spent traveling this year, it’s more important than ever to me to maintain a healthy balance of eating and regular exercise habits, in addition to staying at home, which I cannot say is easy! I’m a huge fan of minced meat on a breakfast buffet (no matter how many other great foods!) and a sunny lunch.

In addition to trying to make sure I work out most days (I’ve managed 4 out of 6 days in the Maldives – successful on this occasion!), I also try to maintain my plant-based eating habits. me no matter where I am. Luckily, things like milk substitutes for morning coffee are really easy to find these days and it’s not even just for ethical or health reasons for me, I really like the taste!

Hopefully these recipes I’m creating Alpro’s plant-based drinks will give you some ideas for the home but also inspiration for dishes that you can order if you are traveling and want something more interesting a little.

This time, it’s all about the humble porridge – just a little spice! I’ve spent 10 good years growing up with nothing to do with porridge; My only recollection of it is ‘Ready Brek’ covered in honey and so it never seemed like an interesting choice when I had the freedom to do what I wanted. Oh, how the conversion tables! Now, a bowl of piping hot creamy oats topped with delicious pastries is all I need to get me out of bed in the morning!

I’ve used Alpro oat drink For this because (no surprise) the flavors go well together but also the Oat Drink makes it super creamy and rich – exactly what you want out of a bowl of porridge!

I hope you enjoy this recipe!
