Hollywood stars are reacting to Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty by a Wisconsin jury on Friday, November 19.
According to NBC News, 18-year-old Rittenhouse was “cleared of all five counts” against him in connection with the shooting death of two men—Joseph Rosenbaum, 36 and Anthony Huber, 26 years old — and “seriously injured” Gaige Grosskreutz, 27 years old, during the protests surrounding the shooting Jacob Blake in Kenosha last August.
After the verdict was read, District Judge Kenosha Bruce Schroeder Thanks for the participation of the Jury. “I couldn’t ask for a better jury to work with,” he said on NBC News. “It’s really my pleasure…just about your interest and the cooperation you’ve shown us.”
The Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office stated that while it was “disappointed with the ruling, it must be respected.” They added, “We are grateful to the members of the jury for their careful consideration and thoughtfulness. The Kenosha community has suffered greatly over the past 15 months, but we remain resilient and strong. .”
