The government on Wednesday cut taxes on gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and crude oil after international rates fell.

It eliminated the tax of Rs 6 per liter on gasoline exports and reduced the same duty on ATF from Rs 6 per liter to Rs 4. notifications.

Furthermore, the additional tax of Rs 23,250 per tonne on domestically produced crude oil has been cut to Rs 17,000 per tonne.
