ONE-TIME VIDEO CALLS

Tired of the same old Launch call? Zero Distance thought it might have the answer.

The company’s Wehead device helps everyone at the meeting feel like a remote attendee is in the room with them.

The device looks like a machine you might find at an ophthalmologist, but with a screen on the front. Remote participants look like they’re there in 3D, and when they look around or nod, the machine moves too.

Wehead works with standard computer or smartphone webcams.

“If there are several people around the table and only one screen, then not everyone can see the screen and the person sitting in the laptop cannot see everyone,” Ilia Sedoshkin , the creator of Wehead said. “It’s the obvious application.”

“But for people who spend about 40 hours a week in the home office, they don’t see many other people. So getting real in the room, using some space on your desk, can help you feel less alone,” says Sedoshkin.

Wehead costs $1,555, with a pro version available for $4,555.

ROBOT BOBA

From milk tea to passion fruit, the ADAM robot can brew any type of bubble tea you like.

ADAM can also function as a bartender or bartender, but it made bubble tea for the delight of CES attendees this week who used digital touchscreens. to choose their drinks.

“Basically, ADAM is a way to engage guests and a way to make drinks completely automated and very efficient,” said Timothy Tanksley of Richtech Robotics.

The two-handed robot has two customizable handles for making specific drinks. While taking a break from making drinks, ADAM can dance to keep people entertained.

ADAM, which can be rented for events or hired full-time, is among the many robots on display at CES this week that perform a variety of tasks, from disinfecting surfaces to delivering goods.

SEED MILK ON REQUIRED

During the pandemic shutdown in 2020, california Resident Luiz Rapacci was having a hard time finding his favorite almond milk at grocery stores. He searched online for recipes to make his own, but they were messy and time-consuming.

Nearly three years later, Rapacci came to CES to showcase his nut milk maker, the GrowUp milk maker.

With GrowUp, customers can make nut milk at home in minutes with water and a milk of their choice, from cashews and walnuts to almonds and pistachios, says Rapacci.

It costs $599 and is available for pre-order now.
