Chika scolds Zonnique’s child for crying on the plane, family’s reaction

One of the conversations that went viral this weekend involved kids on planes. And rappers Chika sparked discussion after she went viral online about a fussy baby on a late-night flight.

toddler is Zoniquedaughter of, Hunter, traveling with relatives of Zonnique and their four-year-old daughter. During what Chika would later call a “manic phase”, she calls a crying Hunter a “bastard”, “b***ha**” and as a result “promiscuous sex” .

Chika also labeled her aunt a “stupid bastard” and mistakenly assumed she was the mother of twins.

“The last person next to me, who thought it would be a good idea to buy you and your twin a first class seat on a red-eye flight, who just woke me up by bringing this fucking bitch. your screaming to OUR place to appease her, I just bought $34 wifi at 4 a.m. to call you stupid asshole.”

She added:

“P.S., I hate you and hope you get a paper cut between your fingers tomorrow, you ignorant girl.” Another tweet read, “like you have mental retardation? What makes you think a 1-year-old would shut them up. the 7-hour flight took off at ONE F****NG AYE EM. you HAVE to have them before going to bed. Circumstances Idc. Gets you to the LEAST economy.”

In the since-deleted tweets, Chika claimed that Zonnique’s aunt was “shaking the damn baby” and “holding her hand to try to silence her.” She also declared her solidarity with an adult man who recently went viral for complaining about a crying baby on a plane.

“I am very angry right now. I had a hard time sleeping. And as soon as I do, you will bring the consequences of YOUR sexual promiscuity into MY life. I turned on noise cancellation and STILL woke up. F**k you h*e, choking.

Zonnique and her aunt later identified Hunter as the target of Chika’s Twitter attack. One video shows the two girls sitting in their chairs across the aisle with headphones and pillows.

“Wait, I’m in tears, not Chika Boo being angry because my baby was abused in first class. You should have just sat there and gone crazy…she’s the sky’s number one priority,” Zonnique tweeted.

Zonnique’s daughter’s relative rang the bell, saying that Chika had directly complimented her on girls

A woman who identifies Zonnique as her niece also reacted to Chika’s derogatory comments online. She identifies the crying child as Hunter and accuses Chika of being “insensitive” online by directly praising her.

The aunt also said that Hunter was only awake for 3 minutes and cried from fear in front of the pitch black plane.

“I can’t believe you can be so emotionless when she woke up once on a five-hour flight from LA. And second, it wasn’t your seat in the first place but you swapped places and sat your fat ass** next to me and let me show off how much fun you brought up there! It’s crazy, because you said in my ear that these kids are so good, he woke up afraid to cry because it was pitch black and the TV was off, so he was startled.”

The aunt accused Chika of infuriating that she and her two children could “afford a first-class seat next to a farmer” like her. She also calls her a b***h faker in person!

Late on Friday, the aunt came up with the same story in a post on Shade roomInstagram’s. She suggests Chika lie about paying for wifi because it’s free.

But a bit of Chika’s scent has attracted attention on social media, along with conversations among kids on planes. Amid her reactions, the rapper responded to the accusations of “stinking,” saying she showered before the flight and wore clean clothes.

“I get it, you think I’m fat. So you’re like, oh, sloppy, gross and disgusting. I took a shower 30 minutes before going to the airport. My clothes have just been washed…I am wearing…my favorite clean linen perfume. No one stinks around you. You’re just angry because I said some malicious things, so now you’re trying to sound like that, what can I say?

Chika apologizes, then suggests Twitter Rant stopped her from harming herself

In her initial apology, Chika shared several messages with an unidentified person who told the rapper her words were “harsh” and should not have been posted on Twitter.

“Posting because I think it’s important & because I understand that the people who really wanted to support me were also offended by my provocative topic yesterday. I’m sorry it has caused/infuriated many people. I just don’t like being seen as someone I’m not.”

But the backlash continued online, prompting Chika to also respond on video. She admitted to acting “really mean” in the tweets but said she wanted to present herself during a manic phase. Chika apologized for being so harsh but later told critics to be “crazy” and that the “reaction was disproportionate to the mistake.”

“Like I said, I’m not rude to her, and that’s okay with me. I have decided to get mad somewhere else. My only mistake was doing it on Twitter. I don’t feel bad because the feedback isn’t proportionate to the mistake. But like…Do your job, internet..you already don’t like me, this is nothing new.”

Deyjah Harris reacts to Chika’s self-harm comment, says there are healthier ways than online chatter

However, part of the reaction in her video caught the attention of Hunter’s aunt, Deyjah Harris– TI’s daughter.

“I think I was intentionally mean in those moments because I thought, if I don’t vent this rage and rage right now, I’m going to have another panic attack on my face. this plane, literally landed at my airport. transition flight and do what I did last year, which is get off that flight, find the top of the building, look down and like I’m going to do that, I’m going to jump.”

TRIAL WARNING: The video below contains messages about self-harm/suicide and suicidal thoughts.

Deyjah began her tweet to Chika by showing solidarity as someone who had previously suffered from “depression, anxiety, self-harm”. However, she immediately made it clear that Chika’s Twitter attack was “not the way to go”.

“There are so many healthier ways to release your emotions. You’ve come to the internet, talking about children like a grown woman and calling my loved ones by their names. That (to me) doesn’t equate to you releasing your anger, but on the contrary, it shows that you’re emotionally/intelligently immature and feel like you’re not being held accountable. any. Obviously, no one wants you to hurt yourself!!!

Harris provides a list of alternative actions, from journaling to talking directly to her aunt, that Chika could have chosen. As of Monday, Chika has not responded to Deyjah’s messages.
