City of Kawartha Lakes pedestrian dies after being struck by car in Little Britain: OPP – Peterborough

City of Kawartha Lakes OPP say a pedestrian died of his accidents after being struck by a car within the village of Little Britain on Monday night.

The collision occurred round 6 p.m. alongside Little Britain Street close to Enviornment Street within the village south of Lindsay.

Police say the sufferer suffered life-threatening accidents and was transported to a Toronto-area hospital. No different accidents had been reported.

On Tuesday morning, OPP stated the sufferer was later pronounced lifeless in hospital.

He has been recognized as Hugh Manley, 68, of the Metropolis of Kawartha Lakes (within the former Fenelon Township).

Little Britain Street was closed from Eldon to Valentia roads till about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday as OPP investigated.
