Classical music doesn’t get old this fall in France
Dated:
France is bustling with classical music events this fall. The Opéra Bastille of Paris is performing Mozart’s immortal “Magic Flute”, with French-Italian conductor Antonello Manacorda conducting. He stopped by FRANCE 24 studios to tell us more about how these Singspiel themes still apply in 2022. We also welcomed Amelia Feuer, an opera singer who debuted “Le festival des femmes” (pas) oubliées”. Its aim is to restore female composers that history has forgotten.
