Former Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and Zelina Vega are set to appear in public as part of the panel, ahead of SummerSlam.
The American Nightmare is currently on hiatus after suffering a tear in his chest muscle. After returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38 as Seth Rollins’ mysterious rival, he went on to defeat The Visionary in three consecutive matches. Their final battle comes in Hell in the cell.
Meanwhile, former champion of the women’s team Zelina Vega is also currently out due to injury. PWINsider reported last month that she is traumatized requires surgery and will be off WWE television for 6-8 weeks.
WWE has now announced that Cody Rhodes and Zelina Vega will appear before WWE SummerSlam on July 30. They will appear alongside WWE RAW Superstar Ciampa and Sam Roberts at the Mattel panel at San Diego Comic Con. The event will take place this Thursday, July 21.

WWE asked fans what metrics they’d like to see revealed in the Mattel dashboard. Some fans were hoping for a ‘Queen Zelina’ image.
Many fans are also hoping that Mattel will debut a new character for The American Nightmare. Former AEW star nice to see one of his characters is released with a sledgehammer in 2020.

American Nightmare recently updated on his return and when he plans to return to the squared circle. WWE announced that he’ll be on shelves in nine months, but he seems to have a his own plan.
It remains to be seen when Rhodes will return to the ring and whether he will continue his feud with Seth Rollins.
