Colleague wins jackpot with scratch ticket on lunch break
Two Kentucky colleagues hit the jackpot lottery tickets during their break, the state lottery revealed on Tuesday.
Valu’s Market Cashier Tyesha Trice And Dylan Mitchell decided to buy two scratch-off tickets earlier this week, according to CBS news.
Colleagues split a pair of scratch-off lottery tickets to their liking and win money on both
The first one, a $30 ticket, they won $100, causing the duo to buy another ticket, which was a $50 ticket 500 times.
“We are very excited about our first win,” the colleagues said in a press release. “We even did a small bump.”

Their luck continued after discovering that they had won $500 after winning first place. But their luck is not over yet.
After scratching the remaining points on the second ticket, they found that they had won $50,000, each with $17,875 remaining after taxes, the newspaper reported.

Michell, who actually celebrated his birthday the day they hit the jackpot, was in awe of their luck.
“I will never forget it,” Mitchell said.

Trice told the outlet she’ll use her winnings to pay rent and save, while Mitchell said he plans to buy a new car and accomodation with his winnings. .
As a reward for the winning sale, Valu Market will receive a small prize of $500.

Florida man wins $1 million lottery ticket after queuing at ticket counter
Last month, Shade room reported that a Florida man won $1 million on a lottery ticket he purchased after being interrupted by a rude customer.
Stephen Munoz Espinoza said he was exhausted after a day’s work and was looking to buy a lottery ticket when he was interrupted at the ticket machine.
Espinoza, 43, ultimately decided to avoid confronting other lottery customers, opting instead to buy his ticket at the counter inside a Publix Supermarket, the New York Post reported.
He said he had had a long day and was too tired to confront the person in line about taking his seat at the ticket machine.

Detroit woman wins $100,000 from state lottery after taking a break from a ‘tough day’
Meanwhile, earlier this month, a Detroit woman won $100,000 from the state lottery after taking a break from a rough day.
Jamila McCaskill just wanted to get rid of her “tough day.” So, to relax, she started playing the lottery online and turned that uncomfortable situation around when she won $100,000.
According to the local store Daily Times CenterMcCaskill recently pocketed $71,750 in after-tax Michigan Lottery prizes. She plans to use the money to pay her mortgage and other bills.
