College football fixtures today: TV channels, start times for each of the top 25 matches of Week 12

There were only three games played between the ranked competitors in Week 12 of the college football season, but the boys were all fearsome.

First and foremost was the huge conference game between No.4 Ohio State and No.7 Michigan State in Columbus, Ohio. The No Power 5 conference race is more exciting than the Big Ten’s, which has three College Football Playoff teams legally out of the East in the Buckeyes, Spartans and No. 6 Michigan. The teams all entered the penultimate week of the season with a loss, but that will soon change.

Depending on the outcome of Saturday’s game between Michigan State and Ohio State, the Spartans either take the lead in the divisional race, or go all-in on “The Game” in Ann Arbor a week later.

Another ranked game in Week 12 was Arkansas at 21 in 2nd Alabama. The Razorbacks saw an incredible turnaround in Year 2 under Sam Pittman, but face one of the biggest tests of the season in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide looks to be nowhere near this year, barely surviving in Florida and LSU and losing to Texas A&M. A win on Saturday will ensure Nick Saban and Co travel to Atlanta to face Georgia in the SEC championship game. A loss makes the Iron Bowl a must-win for Alabama, or the Aggies would represent the SEC West.

The last match between the 3rd ranked opponent, Oregon with 23rd place Utah, this must be the first match with these two teams. The Ducks are the only Pac-12 team capable of reaching the knockout stages, but must win if they want to become the first team since Washington in 2016 to do so. Utah, even if it loses on Saturday, can still go into the Pac-12 championship game with a win over Colorado in Week 13. The Utes will have two chances to play the cheat game against the Ducks.
