Community supports Milwaukee toy store owners after health crisis
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Along North Avenue, where Milwaukee meets Wauwatosa sitting in a collectible toy store. While the owner was able to keep his small business running during the pandemic, his own personal health has proven to be the culprit as he is currently struggling to keep public.
Henry Smith, Jr. opened his Toy Dimensions store in 2000. The store is filled with comic books and action figures that Smith has collected since he was a kid. A reflection of his love for superheroes.
But after collapsing on the sidewalk from a stroke, keeping the store open was a challenge.
On CBS’s Sunday Morning 58, Melissa Zygowicz visited Smith’s Toy Dimension to learn more.
You can find GoFundMe that supports Smith and the store here.
