“Recent reports raise serious concerns about whether your company has taken adequate steps to ensure the safety of the 50,000 spectators who attended the Astroworld Festival,” the committee said. know in the letter.

The committee is asking Live Nation to provide documentation of the questions by January 7 and provide summary information to committee members by January 12.

Such a briefing for the committee would take place in closed doors and not open to the public.

A Live Nation spokesperson did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment.
