The 64-year-old father and his son were in the car while they were riding their bicycles Break the window and drag the man out at the corner of West 127th Street and St. Nicholas.
The kicks hit him repeatedly, and as he lay helpless, they claimed the lives of both father and son.
“When I saw him on the floor, he was bleeding profusely,” the witness said. “And I said don’t pick him up, leave him. You can hurt him more, leave him, he can be flat.”
Initially, the police said that a 24-year-old biker ran a red light and was hit by a car a half way.
The car driver’s son said his father stopped, but when he saw the group of cyclists begin to surround the vehicle, he drove off.
On the other hand, the cyclist’s sister who was involved in the collision, Sade Morris, is speaking out and demanding answers.
“If you have an accident, you stop,” she said. “We are all human. We all deserve that care.”
Her brother is recovering from a head injury, chipped teeth and bruises.
“Obviously he’s in a lot of pain,” Morris said. “It hurts a lot.”

She insisted her brother did not know the group that attacked the father and son or condoned their behavior, but she was furious with the driver.
“My family and I want to see drivers held accountable,” she said. “They showed no remorse for leaving my brother injured there.”
However, the son wanted the cyclists caught.
He said his father feared for his life as soon as they began surrounding the vehicle, and he said that their continued assault and robbery clearly showed their intentions.
