Countdown to MLB Qualifiers: Dodgers win NL West
The hunt to play meaningful baseball in October is heating up.

This is where the playoff race in both leagues runs through to Tuesday night’s games.
NL West
The Los Angeles Dodgers (98-43) owns the best record in the sport and won the division title. The San Diego Padres is the NL representative card number 3.
NL EAST
The New York Mets (89-54) and Atlanta Braves (88-54) are in a slugfest match for the NL East, with New York 0.5 games against Atlanta. Meanwhile, Philadelphia Phillies (79-62) is the NL wildcard number 2.
NL CENTER US
The St. Louis Cardinals (83-59) have been one of the hottest teams since the All-Star and have since risen to the top of NL Central on their own. On the other hand, Milwaukee Brewers (76-66) are the first seven games in the division and two games with the NL 3 wild card.

AL WEST
The Houston Astros (92-50) firmly grasp the victory against AL West, leading 12 games above Seattle Mariners (79-61). Seattle is tagged with AL wildcard number 2.
AL EAST
The New York Yankees (86-56) remained top of the AL East despite their side-game late in the game, holding a six-game lead across Toronto Blue Jays (80-62), AL wild card race leader. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay Rays (79-62) is the previous five games Baltimore Orioles (74-67) for the final AL wildcard.
AL MIDDLE
In a part that changed all summer, Cleveland Defenders (75-65) is the previous three games Chicago White Sox (73-69) at AL Central. The Minnesota Twins (70-70), who were top of the table throughout the first half, are now past the first five games.
