Courteney Cox speaks to Oscar shortlist Sophie and Baron – The Hollywood Reporter

Starring the film’s director, Alexandria Jackson, and co-star, visual artist and writer Sophie Kipner, The Hollywood Reporter sat down with Cox to talk about the collaborative nature of filmmaking and honor the legacy of the late Wolman.

“Courteney gave me my first job on set,” Jackson explained from a sunny Los Angeles living room, where the three women were comfortably snuggling together on a couch. Cox hired Jackson as an assistant to one of her early directorial efforts, Talhotblond (2012) lifetime. “She really kept me organized,” Cox recalls. Jackson recalls, “He really considered the film authentic in his life as a photographer and a friend. “He is very proud of Sophie. He thought it was cool that Courteney was in production.”
