COVID-19: Daily cases in Saskatchewan, 2 deaths reported
Saskatchewan reported 185 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, up 96 from the previous day.
The province’s test positive rate on Saturday was 9.4%.
The seven-day average of new daily cases also reached 116, or 9.6 per 100,000 people.

The province also reported two new deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 910 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Across Saskatchewan, there are 1,167 active cases.
At the hospital, there are 155 patients with COVID-19, of which 39 are in intensive care.
Of the 155 hospitalized patients, 107, or 69%, were not fully vaccinated.

In addition, nine ICU patients received out-of-province care. As of Friday’s update, one patient has returned to Saskatchewan.
Healthcare workers have administered 2,477 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine since Friday’s update.
