COVID-19: Nova Scotia reports 1 death, 60 new cases since last update – Halifax

Nova Scotia has reported one new death and 60 new COVID-19 infections since the province’s last update on November 19.

In a statement Monday, the province said a man in his 90s from the Western Zone had passed away. He is the 107th person to die from COVID-19 in the province and the 13th since August 1.

“COVID-19 is still here. It’s not going anywhere anytime soon, and it continues to take loved ones away from family and friends,” Premier Tim Houston said in a statement.

“My thoughts are with everyone who is grieving. Let’s stop anyone else going through this pain by being fully vaccinated, staying home if you’re sick, and following public health measures.”
