Covid ravages Romania amid an onslaught of fake news and superstition
Intensive care units and morgues are filling up in Romania amid record levels of Covid-19-related deaths and one of Europe’s lowest vaccination rates. Doctors say they cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, as a large number of the population is still reluctant to get vaccinated. Medics say they fight against fake news, suspicion and superstition. CNN’s Ben Wedeman reports from Romania.
