CPD, CFD & Make-A-Wish help Portage Park boy become a superhero for a day


CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Division and the Chicago Fireside Division teamed up with Make-A-Need on Sunday to point out Navy Pier into a comic book e-book book journey and let a boy play superhero for a day.

Cyrus Powers of Portage Park has cystic fibrosis. The nine-year-old wished to alter into the superhero “Minds-Eye”.

His mission: to keep away from losing Chicago from the evil “Dr. Chortle”, who freezes his victims and steals their valuables.

After the bust, Cyrus obtained administration awards as an honorary superhero police officer.
