(Reuters) -Royal Caribbean Group stated on Tuesday Chief Government Officer Richard Fain will step down from his function in January 2022 after a 33-year tenure.
Finance chief Jason Liberty will takeover as CEO, stated the corporate, which is slowly rebounding after the coronavirus pandemic pressured cruising firms to pause operations for almost 18 months.
Fain stated “it was the appropriate time to step down” with many of the firm’s ships working and the group nearing a full return to cruising.
The corporate added that Fain would proceed to work with Liberty, who joined Royal Caribbean (NYSE:) in 2005 and took up the function of chief monetary officer in 2013.
