Curley School in Plains Jamaica to reopen after 10 days of distance learning due to the COVID outbreak – CBS Boston
JAMAICA PLAIN (CBS) – Students at Curley School in Jamaica Plain will return to face-to-face classes the following Monday The covid outbreak that kept them at home for 10 days.
The school was closed on November 9 after 46 students tested positive for about two weeks.
Students participate in distance learning while school is closed.
Because the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has not approved the full 10 days for credit in the study period, students will have to make up some days at the end of the school year.
Education Commissioner Jeffrey Riley has asked schools to reopen on Wednesday, November 17.
