On Sunday, April 3, celebrities and Bridal stylist Micaela Erlanger married William “Mac” Osborne in Miami at historic Vizcaya Museum & Gardens – and she wore three custom Prada suits for the occasion. It’s no surprise that ‘s stylist wedding fashion is a sight to behold, as she’s responsible for some of the most famous looks on the red carpet – from Lupita Nyong’o’s 2014 Oscars Prada Dress for many of them Elegant dresses by Diane Kruger at the Cannes Film Festival.
For Erlanger’s big day, she opted for a luxurious custom Prada couture gown made of ivory georgette silk and embellished with a lily of the valley motif. With an off-the-shoulder silhouette and delicate crystal beading, this look sets the tone for a glamorous weekend wedding.
Both Erlanger and Osborne’s gowns were full of sentimentality: they were embroidered with the couple’s initials on the interior in gold thread and studded with pearls from Erlanger’s great-grandmother’s wedding dress from 1900.
Erlanger makeup with luxurious teardrop diamond earrings by Fred Leighton. The jeweler also made her vintage hairbrushes, as well as shirt studs and pearl cufflinks for Osborne. And Erlanger designed her own De Beers Forevermark diamond eternal band as part of her new collaboration with the label.
The bride’s second look was a dreamy tiered strapless gown with a soft feather skirt, decorated with silver beads and a bow at the waist. Her final outfit for the reception was a miniskirt and an elaborate beaded mini dress, paired with white satin sandals and a jewel-encrusted tiara.
If that sounds like a fashion fantasy, her bridesmaid dresses – in varying shades of mint – are equally spectacular. Such a bridesmaid is Nyong’o, longtime Erlanger customer, the low-heeled dress was covered in sequins from head to toe and finished with satin ties at the shoulders. As she twirled around on the dance floor, it was clear her outfit could match the red carpet. All of the bridesmaids wore custom gowns from Markarian.
Although Erlanger sourced the archives of Versace, vintage Christian Dior Haute Couture, and Christian Siriano for her rehearsal dinners and welcome events, she ultimately chose Prada to wear for her and Osborne. on their wedding day from start to finish.
“As a celebrity stylist I have had the pleasure of working with so many brands over the years but Prada and their team hold a very special place in my heart,” she says. The couple postponed their wedding twice due to the pandemic and ended up eloping in St. Barth’s in August 2021. For their big 2022 celebration, they put on a post-celebration party with performances by Commoner and award-winning composer Justin Paul of “La La Land.” and “Dear Evan Hansen.”
