Daniel Jones played from injury in Q4 comeback
Daniel Jones put together a hugely impressive performance in the fourth half of Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, and he had to go through a pretty painful injury to do so.
Jones helped lead The Giants in a massive fourth-quarter rally against the Packers in London despite a notable bump to his right pitcher. NFL Network cameras detected the injury while he was leading a ground-breaking lap in the fourth quarter.
It’s not the worst football injury you’ll ever see, but there’s no easy way to get over it, especially with Jones’ throw. Even so, Jones went 7/8 in game 15, with a 91-yard touchdown to end the game at 20. He followed up with another 60-yard hit to give the Giants a 27-20 lead.
Jones has been play through some pain this season, but that does not seem to hinder his form much. Despite his rather poor stats and lack of offensive weapons outside of Saquon Barkley, he got the Giants 4-1, and it must have been worth it.
